This site runs on Ghost, self-hosted. I keep data to a minimum and I would rather explain it plainly than bury it in jargon.

What I collect

If you subscribe by email, I keep your email address and whatever name you gave me, so I can send you new guides and so you can unsubscribe. That is the whole list.

Ghost records basic aggregated page-view numbers. Those are counts, not identities, and I do not look at them per person.

What I do not collect

No passport numbers, no dates of birth, no travel documents, no payment details, ever, through this website. There is no contact form that asks for them.

There is no visa checker script, no dropdown, and no third-party analytics tracker on these pages. Anything on this site that appears to need a form does not.

Third parties

My articles link to Thai government sites, and those sites have their own policies which I do not control and have not read. I run no advertising networks and no cross-site trackers. The newsletter is sent through the email provider configured for this site, which stores your address to deliver it.

Your rights

Ask me to delete your subscription and everything attached to it and I will do it, no questions. Use the contact page.
